This project considers information design in a contemporary world of attention by exploring ways to convey complex information quickly. It does so through formats such as Apple commercials.
Studying Apple’s “Don’t Blink” showed me how they employ 3D/CGI ‘product shots’, ‘a percussion-heavy soundtrack’ and ‘kinetic [type]’ (Motionographer, 2016) which work together to hold attention.
